Youth Rugby Club
2012 Season

The members of the Palatine Rugby Club are excited about the impending start of the spring 2012 season!  We’ll start our outdoor practices this February on the new synthetic turf fields at Celtic Park. 

Thank you Palatine Celtic Soccer Club and Palatine Park District for building these for us!

Coaches Warren Taylor, Bill Pfister, Adam Swiatek and Alan Burton are all returning for the spring 2012 Season.  We expect great things from our Pioneers & Barbarians!

The Pioneers are a Middle School (Grades 6 - 8) team that competes in the iYRA Middle School Division against clubs from Arlington Heights, Batavia, Brookfield, Cicero, Lake Forest, Naperville, St. Charles, Sycamore, and Warrenville.

The Barbarians are our Boy's High School (Grades 9 - 12) team that competes in the
iYRA Tier II North High School Division

This is the inaugural season for our Girl’s High School team.  They will compete in the iYRA Girl’s High School Division against clubs from Aurora, Chicago, Frankfort, Plainfield, Quad Cities, Rockford and St. Charles.

A certified athletic trainer is present at each Rugby match.

We run Non-Contact Park District Rugby Camps every summer (outdoors) and winter (indoors.)

We welcome new players at all times.  No experience is necessary.  We will teach you to play Rugby safely and well.
