The Palatine Rugby Football Club Inc NFP is a Youth Rugby Club. We are a member of USA Rugby and the Illinois Youth Rugby Association. Our primary sponsors are the Northwest Woodsmen RFC (Adult Mens Rugby Club) and the North Shore Womens Rugby Club (Adult Womens Rugby Club).
The Pioneers are a Boy's Middle School (Grades 6 - 8) team that competes in the iYRA Middle School Division against clubs from Arlington Heights, Cicero, Lake Forest, Naperville, St. Charles & Western Springs. The Pioneers draw players Carl Sandburg JH, Plum Grove JH, Walter R. Sundling JH and Winston CampusJH.
The Barbarians are a Boy's High School (Grades 9 - 12) team that competes in the iYRA Tier II North High School Division against clubs from Arlington Heights, Elmwood Park, Lake Forest, Oak Park, St. Charles & Winnetka. The Barbarians draw players from Elk Grove HS, Lake Zurich HS, Palatine HS, Schaumburg HS & William Fremd HS.
A certified athletic trainer is present at each Palatine Rugby Football Club Inc NFP match per agreement with AthletiCo Inc.
We run Non-Contact Flag Rugby Camps for boys & girls from age 8 to 13 through area park districts in the Summer & Winter. We are also developing a Girls Rugby Program. Please contact us for more information about these programs.
